猫は気まぐれだし、人に媚びることがないって言う人もいますけど、私に言わせればそこが魅力なんです。　Some people say cats are capricious and independent, but as for me, that's the point I am enchanted by.
猫にはどこか神秘的なところがあると思いませんか。　Don't you think there's something mysterious with cats?　(＊＊＊）

(＊）ここではメロメロになるという日本語を抵抗できないという言葉に言い換えています。こんな風に日本語を大胆に英語にしてみてもいいのでは？　同じように媚びないという言葉に independent を使いました。自立している、頼らないというのが本義ですが当たらずといえど遠いからじと考えました。日本語を右左に適切な言葉に翻訳しようと思わずに、これってどういうこと？と考えて捉えなおすことも役に立つでしょう。

(＊＊）魅力的と言いたい時、魅了するという他動詞から入ってみましょう。人や物は　fascinating, charming, enchantingですし、人がその感情を味わう時は受け身にしてbe動詞　＋　過去分詞です。

あの人には奇妙なところがあると思わない？　Don't you think there's something peculiar with him?
こんな風に　There's something ~ with は定番として押さえておくのも良いかもです。
